A woman dies and three people are injured after a terrible accident in West Hollywood
Los Angeles, California. One woman was killed and three others injured in a car crash Thursday in West Hollywood.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputiesĀ and members of the fire department responded to several emergency reports made at about 11:55 p.m. reporting a crash near Stanley and Fountain Avenues, said Sgt. Enrique Mandujan of the West Hollywood station.
A 2004 Infiniti model car that was driven at too high a speed to travel on Fountain Avenue then lost control and crashed a parked vehicle, Mandujan said. The vehicle also hit a light pole, hit a fence and came to a violent stop as it rolled over and was turned upside down in the middle of the westbound lanes of Fountain Avenue, west of Stanley Avenue, Mannujan said.
One of the car’s occupants was pronounced dead at the scene, Mandujan said, and three other passengers in the vehicle were transported to a hospital, where they were released hours later in stable condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
