Forensic officials have identified the man who died during a collision on Highway 74 in Ortega on Thursday.

A motorcyclist killed in a collision on Highway 74 in Ortega, three miles east of the Riverside County border was identified as a resident of Gardena on Friday.
The collision involved a motorcycle and occurred around 15:15 p.m. on Thursday, California Highway Patrol Officer Agustin Latosquin said.
Both sides of the highway were temporarily closed, causing traffic congestion in and out of Orange and Riverside counties, according to the California Highway Patrol report.

The Orange County coroner’s office has identified the victim as a 28-year-old man named Justin Washington of Gardena. Washington died at the crash site, moments after the collision, according to reports.
